In the following post you’ll find the most popular open source and free (as in beer) control panels, there are other control panels but most of them are outdated and discontinued. Virtualmin

Virtualmin is a web hosting control panel for Linux and UNIX systems based on the Open Source web-based systems management GUI, Webmin.

There is also a paid version called virtualmin professional with extra features and support.

Support is provided by the active forums. Paid support is provided for paid edition only.

Installation is done by an automated installer script.

ISPconfig 3

ISPConfig 3 is an open source hosting control panel for Linux. ISPconfig 3 is capable of managing multiple servers from one control panel.

There is also the older version ISPconfig2 which is under active development.

Support is provided by the active forums. Paid support is also available.

Installation is done by the provided howto, an automated script is provided for the configuration of the services so you only have to install the software.
